About padel shoes
Sizing is not consistent across these brands, and we would rather tell you than have you post a pair back. Mizuno and Asics are listed in EU sizes and run true to size. Adidas is listed in UK sizes and tends to run about half a size small. If you are between sizes, go up.
Common questions
Can I wear running shoes for padel?
You can, once. Running soles are built to grip forwards and they do not release when you move sideways, which is how ankles get turned. A padel or clay court sole is designed to let the foot slide a few centimetres and then stop.
Are tennis shoes fine for padel?
Clay court tennis shoes are close to ideal and we stock a few. Hard court tennis shoes are usable but the sole pattern is less forgiving on sand.
